Shri Jinit Barot, Lecturer in Mechanical Engineering, successfully completed 12 weeks NPTEL online course on “Engineering Fracture Mechanics “which is recognised as one and half week FDP by AICTE and obtained ELITE category certificate in October 2018. 3. Shri Ashish Kumar Agrawal, Lecturer in Mechanical Engineering, successfully completed 12 weeks NPTEL online course on “Introduction to Composites “which is recognised as one and half week FDP by AICTE and obtained ELITE PLUS SILVER category certificate with score of 84 in April 2019. He was among top 2 % of candidates qualifying the course. 4. Shri Jinit Barot, Lecturer in Mechanical Engineering, successfully completed 12 weeks NPTEL online course on “Machinery fault diagnosis & Signal Processing “which is recognised as one and half week FDP by AICTE and obtained ELITE PLUS SILVER category certificate in April 2019.

2.Ved Prakash, student of first year, participated in National Voters Day event at Swami Vivekananda auditorium, Daman. 3.Jay Patil, Prasad Ankit, Raj Kumar Behra, Raman Bariya, Shivam Maurya, Varun Kumar, Barot Rutvik, Bhundere Devidas, Deepak Jangid, Guddu Rajbhar, Nikhil Kumar and Pal Abhishek, students of first year Mechanical Engineering performed road shows for awareness of voters in Elections 2019 at various places in Daman. 4. Students of Mechanical Engineering performed in cultural programme organised on Annual Day of Government Polytechnic, Daman. 5.Students of first year and second year Mechanical Engineering participated in PM visit at Silvassa. 6. Ved Prakash, student of first year, participated in tree plantation at government polytechnic.
